I’m sure many of you haven’t heard of the Azores. I didn’t know much about them myself prior to booking our trip. The Azores are a group of volcanic islands over 900 miles off the coast of Portugal. They house anything and everything you could be looking for in a tropical but adventurous vacation, at a fraction of the cost of similar destinations. The islands are called the Hawaii of Europe, just not at a Hawaii price tag 😉. Filled with beaches of all types, great hiking, endless waterfalls, lush greenery, flowers galore, colorful crater lakes, volcanic mountains, hot springs, thermal pools and more.
